• Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for review by Country Director (CD)/FC to be submitted to GOAL HQ on the 9th working day after each month end. • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and journals. • Prepare and review budget proposals. • Daily review of cash balances, ensure cashbooks are adequately funded in Blantyre and field offices, coordinating with field finance officers. • Preparation of monthly payroll, including ensuring compliance with local statutory taxation and social security regulations as well aa expat in country allowances. • Budgets and Forecast Management and Monitoring of the same. • Prepare VAT claim report and submit to MRA. Follow up the same to make sure VAT is refunded. • Coordination of payments with logistics and programs team and making sure coding is accurately done. • Timely sale of forex and facilitate inter bank transfers. • Making sure all the payment vouchers are accurately calculated, charged to a correct donor, adequate supporting documents and in line with the Goal’s procurement policies. • Fixed Asset Register Management.
