I provided strategic advice to the Board of Trustees as well as technical and intellectual leadership to five Departmental Heads and more than 250 staff members. Some of my achievements included: i) Board Relationship: Provided strategic advice to the Board. Drafted Board agenda. Provided secretariat services to the Board. Ensured that Board decisions are implemented, monitored and the Board is periodically updated; ii) Leadership: Took a lead role in reviewing the organization’s strategic plan as well as restructuring and streamlining the organisation’s structure and manning levels to ensure that it is fit to deliver the organization’s mandate and revised strategic plan. The organization was also able to effectively respond to the industry challenges and opportunities both local and international. Also achieved the organizations targets as well as mandate; iii) Operations Management: Effectively provided operational leadership to both technical and support units. The technical units included: research and technology development; extension and advisory services; training; diversification. The support units included: human resource and administration; finance; procurement and audit. I took a lead role in planning, budgeting, implementation and reporting, including financial management and administration; v) Instituted a robust staff performance appraisal system through which high performing staff were recognized and rewarded;

I provided strategic advice to the Board and senior management as well as operational and intellectual leadership to multi-disciplinary/ multi-cultural project teams as well as in-country project management teams. My main duties and responsibilities included project cycle management, loan/ grant administration. I worked on agribusiness, community development and forestry/ natural Resource/ environmental management,. Some of my achievements included: i) Project cycle Management: provided strategic, operational and intellectual leadership to project teams to work on all aspects of project cycle management including procurements and disbursements; ii) I successfully managed a multinational initiative to integrate renewable energy technologies in a number of AfDB funded projects in agriculture and rural development pm Zambia, Morocco, Kenya, Ethiopia and many other countries; iii) Leveraged ADB resources and capacity to mobilize more than US$ 50 million co-funding resources from other donor agencies through co-funding or parallel funding agreements, including the World Bank, FAO, IFAD, GEF, Islamic Development Bank, among others; iv) Effectively and efficiently managed complex donor funded projects and achieved objectives on time and within budget and on time in West, East and Southern African countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Uganda, Lesotho, and Angola among others;
