Quality Assurance consultant for WASH( In Emergency and Regular programs) WASH services(Construction and soft ware) • Support the assessment, planning, response and coordination of WASH project activities. • Community mobilization and their participation in site selection and data collection for the design of the project. • Provision of safe water, secure and dignified sanitary facilities and improved hygiene messaging to communities and institutions. • Facilitate improved coordination between stakeholders • Ensure compliance and quality control for the whole project. • Provide timely supervision and monitoring of the construction of WASH infrastructures regarding technical aspects and ensure that contractors adhere to technical specifications. • Determining the actual work executed by the contractors and facilitate that the payment is done based on actual work verified. • Compiling and submit the progress and final reports. • Monitor interventions including resources and Program Contracts Agreements. • Provide input for proposal development and reporting • Capacity development plans and training materials to Implementing partners and government staff. • Facilitate diversity and inclusiveness of HIV, Gender, and Disability, Child protection and Disaster and Risk reduction in all WASH interventions (Cross cutting issues).

Key Responsibilities • Support the assessment, planning, coordination and implementation of WASH activities. • Oversee the drilling and rehabilitation of boreholes in schools and communities. • Oversee the construction of sanitation facilities in institutions and schools • Facilitate the community led approaches in creating demand for WASH services. • Facilitate coordination with district counterparts • Ensure backtracking of WASH project activities to provide in sight for refining projects implementation. • Documentation of best practices for others to learn from.
