I was responsible for general management of the local branch of the organisation . The company dealt with supply of medical and diagnostic equipment, including servicing of diagnostic equipment. My job included sourcing of sales contracts, supervision and co-ordination of service engineers, customer visits, progress and sales reports to the head office in Portugal, and the complete set up of the local office in Blantyre.
Service engineers had to submit their requests to me for approval before the commencement of any work for clients. Upon my approval I would take care of logistics for jobs to be carried out. I also took care of recruitment for the local office and dealt with staff handling in general. Basically I was overall in charge of the entire operation of the organisation in Malawi, as such I also had to travel a lot within Malawi. Basically, I have experience in most areas of running a business and maintaining a client portfolio competently.
